Monument: As part of the
commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War the
Chesterfield County Sesquicentennial Committee is placing a monument
on the bluff at Henricus Park to commemorate the United States
Colored troops who served in the Army of the James. For more

Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia presents its signature
Winter Lecture Series January through March,
2013.
The first of our Winter Lecture Series is a popular
living history person who portrays Patrick Henry. For those who saw
him as “John Paul Jones”, you will be delighted to know that he
returned on January 11 as “Patrick Henry”.
. Our Winter Lecture Series are held at the Lucy Corr
Community Hall.

Winter Lectures –
The Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia (CHSV) will present
its sixth annual “Winter Lecture Series” in Chesterfield, VA,
starting on January 11th
and continuing every second Friday evening at 7:00pm through March
22nd, 2013.
