The following are special historical presentations.

The Matoaca Cotton Factory:  The Village of Matoaca evolved around a cotton manufacturing facility. The mill opened for cotton manufacture in 1834 and closed about 1922. Keith McCray and members of Boy Scout Troop 175 under the leadership of Dan Wieskotton carried out an industrial archeology survey of the mill site in December 2003. Their work was presented at the Matoaca Methodist Church on June 8, 2004.

On May 18 a group gathered at the Village of Bermuda Hundred
to Greet the Godspeed as it sailed to the Citie of Henricus
