Volunteers Needed - You are our lifeline to Chesterfield History
On May 25, 1749, Chesterfield County was officially chartered and split from Henrico County.  Throughout 2024, the county will celebrate its 275th anniversary with numerous events to give residents an opportunity to join in the celebration.

  • May  25, 11am, Chesterfield 275th Anniversary Celebration on the Historic 1917 Courthouse Green on Iron Bridge Road
